Infotek Consulting Completes Integration Of An Interface Between ComData and Web Freight Pro
Infotek Consulting recently added value to an already robust Freight Management System, by completing the integration of an interface between Comdata and Web Freight Pro. This integration allows a dispatcher to issue an advance to a driver's ComData card which the driver can then use to pay for things such as fuel and tolls. ComData is the standard in the industry for managing financial exchanges with Drivers and Owner Operators.
August 24, 2004 -- The loading of the ComData card happens in real time and the transaction is taken into account when processing the net settlement for a driver. It even provides journal entries for exporting to your accounting system to keep your Comdata and Accounts Payable accounts in balance.
The ComData interface is just one of many third party software interfaces that Web Freight Pro has added to its web-native Freight Management System in the recent months. "We understand the value of providing a conduit to other third party software applications used throughout the transportation industry." said Infotek President Ken Reiter. "It adds value to Web Freight Pro and improves the workflow for our customers."
